Important information about latest venue change

You will know that due to closure, we had to move from the White Horse at Lenham to
the Ringlestone Inn at short notice in August.
Whilst not ideal, the Ringlestone Inn served a purpose as a temporary meeting place for our regular club nights.
However, with the room being rather small for our needs and the management’s decision to book the room
that we use for other client bookings in November & December it has become necessary to find somewhere
else for us to meet.

We are pleased to inform you that we have a found a suitable venue for our meetings to
continue on the last Friday of each month.
The new venue is “The Harrow”, Hubbards Hill, Warren Street, Nr Lenham, ME17 2ED and is still in
the central Kent area, so will enable all members to attend the Friday evening clubnights as before.
Some older members will know that we used to meet there previously when it was under different management.
We have been assured by the present management that we will be welcome, and that they are expecting to be there for the foreseeable future.

The facilities for us are much better at The Harrow, the car parking is much better, the room
available to us is much bigger, the drive to the pub doesn’t involve so many narrow lanes, and
the management are friendly.

Our next clubnight will be on Friday 25th November 2011 and we look forward to seeing as many
of you as can make it there. We are also pleased to announce that from January 2012,
we will be able to resume our full programme of speakers/presentations on clubnights,
see the next “Grin Factor” for details.
Please give your club and the committee the support it deserves and meet us all at “The Harrow” in the future.

The Sunday meetings:
The Sunday meets are used as a social gathering and chance to drive out in the cars if no other events attract our attention. They now have a very varied format as follows:-

Sunday Run and Lunch
2nd Sunday of most months

Meet at the motorway services area, M20 J8 between 11:00 and 11:30.

Leave at 11:30 for a drive along the roads and lanes of Kent for an hour or so.

We will finish at a pub, chosen on the day, for a drink or Sunday lunch.
